Description
The AK Sleeper Sofa is an oak sofa that turns into a real double bed. Extend the slats, lay out the two traditional bed mattresses (foam or pocket spring) and you have a comfortable 160 × 200 cm double bed – not a thin fold-out mattress.
This one is upholstered in Earth Brown, a brown smooth fabric that is practical for everyday life and pet-friendly. The covers are removable and washable. Add up to three oak storage boxes underneath for bedding, or use one as a coffee table.
Designed in Copenhagen and handmade in Latvia. Made for guest rooms that double as a home office, and for small city apartments.

Materials
Frame: Solid oak and premium birch plywood with oak veneer, finished with natural oil.
Mattresses: Available in foam or pocket spring.
Pillows: Cotton shell with polyester fibre ball filling.
Covers: OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified polyester fabric.
Care
Frame
Dust with a dry or slightly damp microfibre cloth.
Clean with mild soap and warm water, wiping with the wood grain.
Avoid harsh chemicals and dry immediately after cleaning.
Covers
Removable and washable.
Vacuum gently from time to time to remove dust.
Wash at 30°C on a gentle cycle, inside out, with similar colours.
Do not tumble dry. Air dry vertically.

Rotate and fluff occasionally to help maintain their shape.

Is the AK Sleeper Sofa comfortable enough to sleep on every night?
Yes. The AK Sleeper Sofa was designed to work as both a proper sofa and a proper bed, not just as an occasional guest bed. It uses two full-size 80 × 200 cm mattresses, and you can choose the firmness that suits you best.
Do you offer a warranty?
Yes. Your AK Sleeper Sofa is covered by a 2-year warranty. If anything is not working as it should, we’ll find a solution as quickly as possible.
The good thing is that the AK Sleeper Sofa is made from separate components, so we can replace or repair the affected part rather than the whole sofa.
Which mattress should I choose?
Medium Pocket Spring
Choose this if you like a more traditional mattress feel with a little bounce. Medium firm.
Medium Foam
Choose this if you prefer a slightly softer feel or are worried the Firm Foam might be too firm.
Firm Foam
Choose this if you like a firm, supportive mattress. This is our most popular option.
Extra Firm Foam
Choose this if you already know you prefer a very, very firm sleeping surface.

What is the sofa frame made from?
The main structural wooden elements combine solid oak with Baltic birch plywood and oak veneer. We use different materials where they make the most sense structurally, rather than using one material throughout the entire sofa.
Grain, knots and natural colour variations will differ slightly from piece to piece, making every frame unique.
Does the moving part of the frame have wheels?
Yes. The moving part runs on small rubber wheels, making it easy to open and close while helping to protect your floor.
The main frame stays in place on small rubber feet, keeping the sofa stable while you open the bed.
How big is the bed when opened?
The sleeping area is 160 × 200 cm, made from two 80 × 200 cm mattresses placed side by side.
Can I add storage underneath?
Yes. You can add up to three storage boxes underneath the sofa.
The boxes can be ordered with or without lids. With a lid, they can also be used as a small table or leg rest.
Can I order a different colour?
Yes. We can customise the colour for you. Feel free to contact us if you have a specific colour in mind, and we’ll let you know what is possible.
What is the difference between Smooth and Bouclé?
Smooth has a cleaner, flatter surface and a more minimal look.
Bouclé has more texture and a softer, tactile appearance.
Both fabrics are made for furniture use and are highly durable.
Are the covers removable?
Yes. All fabric covers are removable and can be washed at 30°C on a gentle cycle. You can also replace them later if you want to refresh the sofa or change the colour. Additional cover sets can be purchased separately.
Can I see the colours before ordering?
Yes. You can order our fabric sample set to see the colours and textures in your own home before deciding.

Will the delivery company contact me?
The logistics company will contact you before delivery to arrange or confirm the delivery day.
Does the sofa arrive assembled?
The sofa is delivered flat-packed on a pallet.
This makes it easier to transport into apartments, through narrow staircases and into rooms where a fully assembled sofa might not fit.
Delivery is curbside, meaning the pallet is delivered to the entrance of your building or property. We recommend having two people available to bring the individual boxes inside.
How difficult is assembly?
Assembly normally takes around 1 hour with two people.
You only need a screwdriver. A printed manual and video assembly guide are included.
Is there a gap between the two mattresses?
As the bed is made from two separate mattresses, there is a small meeting point in the middle. For sleeping, we recommend using a 160 × 200 cm fitted sheet over both mattresses, which helps keep them together and makes the sleeping surface feel unified.
Why does it cost more than a typical sofa bed?
Because it is not a typical sofa bed.
