Medium foam
This is the softest option. It feels comfortable and cozy, especially if you like a softer mattress. It is not very soft, but it is the softest option and works well in both sofa and bed mode.

Hard foam
This is the most popular choice. It feels firm and supportive and works well for most people.

Extra hard foam
This option is for people who like a veeery firm mattress. Some people prefer this level of support, especially those who experience back pain or are used to sleeping on very hard mattresses.

Pocket spring (hard)
This option is also quite firm but a bit more bouncy. Some people like this more traditional mattress feeling. It is also heavier than foam. If you plan to transform the frame often, the foam mattresses are easier to handle because they are lighter.

In general, none of our mattresses are very soft, because that would not be comfortable when used as a sofa. The mattresses need to give good support in both sofa and bed mode. If you ever want a softer feeling, you can always add a topper on top.
