Shipping Policy

At Another Kind, every piece of furniture is carefully produced, packed, and prepared for its new home. As our products are large furniture items, shipping differs slightly from standard parcel deliveries. Below you'll find everything you need to know.

Where We Ship

We currently ship throughout the European Union, Switzerland, Norway, and the United Kingdom.

If your country is not available at checkout, please get in touch with us at renate@anotherkind.dk, and we'll be happy to see if we can arrange delivery.

Processing Time

Orders are prepared for dispatch within 1–5 business days, unless stated otherwise on the product page.

If you order during a preorder period, the estimated shipping date will be clearly displayed before purchase.

Delivery Time

Once your order has been dispatched, the estimated delivery time is 5–20 business days, depending on your destination.

Delivery times may vary due to customs procedures, holidays, weather conditions, or other circumstances beyond our control.

Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your delivery country.

Any promotional shipping offers, such as free shipping within selected regions, will be clearly communicated on our website.

Delivery Method

Our furniture is delivered on a pallet via a professional freight carrier.

Delivery is curbside delivery, meaning the pallet will be delivered to the entrance of your building or property. The carrier is not able to carry the furniture inside your home.

We recommend having two people available to move the packages indoors.

The shipping company will contact you before delivery to arrange a suitable delivery date and time.

Package Information

Your order arrives flat-packed for easier transportation.

The heaviest package weighs approximately 25 kg.

Assembly takes approximately 1 hour and requires only a screwdriver. Printed instructions and video assembly guides are included.

Customs & Import Fees

We want your shopping experience to be as simple and transparent as possible.

The price you pay at checkout is the final price. We take care of the customs process and any applicable import fees, so you won't receive unexpected customs invoices or surprise charges upon delivery.

If there are ever any country-specific exceptions, these will be clearly communicated before you complete your purchase.

Damaged Packages

Please inspect your delivery upon arrival.

If the packaging appears visibly damaged, we kindly ask you to:

Take photos before opening the packages.
Note any visible damage with the delivery driver, if possible.
Contact us within 48 hours of delivery at renate@anotherkind.dk, including your order number and photos of the damage.

We'll work with you to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

Missing Items

Our products are carefully packed and checked before shipment.

If you believe something is missing, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery. In some cases, smaller components may be packed inside larger boxes.

We'll help locate or replace any missing items as quickly as possible.

Incorrect Address

Please make sure your shipping address and contact details are correct before placing your order.

If an order is returned because the address provided was incorrect or delivery could not be completed, additional shipping charges for redelivery may apply.
