Overview

Welcome to Another Kind. The terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Another Kind. We operate this store and website, including all related information, content, features, tools, products and services. Shopify powers our store.

These Terms of Service together with any policies we link to describe your rights and responsibilities when you use our services. By visiting or shopping here, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

Access and account

You confirm that you are at least the age of majority in your country. You may be asked to provide your email, billing, payment, and shipping information. All details you give must be correct and complete. You are responsible for your account security and for all activity under your account.

Our products

We try to show products as accurately as possible. Colors on your screen may differ from the real product because of device settings. Product descriptions may change without notice. We may limit quantities or stop products at any time.

Natural wood and handmade parts can have small variations. These are part of the product character.

Orders

Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we confirm and process your payment. Please review your order before submitting. We may decline or cancel an order and will try to contact you using the details you gave.

Returns and exchanges follow our Returns and Refunds Policy. You confirm that your purchases are for personal or household use and not for resale.

Prices and billing

Prices can change without notice. The price you see at checkout is the price that applies. Prices usually do not include shipping, handling, customs or import charges unless we state it.

You agree to give current and correct payment details and to update them when they change. You confirm you are allowed to use the payment method and that you will pay all charges plus applicable taxes and fees.

Shipping and delivery

We deliver to Denmark and selected international countries.

We offer curbside delivery. This means delivery to the front of your building. Bringing boxes inside and assembly are not included. Our furniture can be heavy. We suggest having a friend or family member ready to help bring it inside.

If you are based in Copenhagen, we can help arrange inside delivery and assembly for an extra fee. Lifting up stairs is not included.

Products are made to order and ship when ready.

We always try to deliver as promised, but sometimes life happens - weather, customs, or transport delays can affect timing. Once your order leaves our workshop, it is handed over to our trusted delivery partners Ace Logistics, Dachser, and FedEx, who are responsible for completing the delivery safely to the provided address.

Please make sure the recipient is reachable on the phone number given. Share access details in advance, such as codes, gates or narrow roads. If no one is at the address at the agreed time, redelivery can be arranged for an extra fee.

Intellectual property

All content on our services, including names, logos, text, images and designs, belongs to Another Kind or our partners. You may use the services for personal and non commercial use only. You may not copy or reuse content without written permission.

Optional tools

We may give access to third party tools. We provide these as is and as available. Use them at your own risk and review the third party terms.

Third party links

Our services may link to third party sites. We do not control these sites and are not responsible for their content or policies. Please review their terms before you use them.

Relationship with Shopify

Another Kind is powered by Shopify. Sales and purchases are made with Another Kind, not with Shopify. By using our services, you agree that Shopify is not responsible for your transactions with us. You release Shopify from claims related to your purchases from Another Kind.

Privacy

Personal information we collect is subject to our Privacy Policy. Because our store is hosted by Shopify, Shopify also processes some personal data. You can read Shopify’s privacy policy on their website.

Feedback and reviews

If you send ideas, comments, reviews or other content, you give us a worldwide, royalty free license to use and share that content for store operations and promotion. You confirm you have the rights to share it and that it follows the law. We may remove content that is unlawful or harmful.

Errors and updates

Sometimes our site may have errors or omissions, such as pricing or availability. We may correct these and update information or cancel orders when needed.

Prohibited uses

You may use our services only for lawful purposes. You agree not to harm others, break laws, infringe rights, send spam, upload malware, or try to bypass security. We may suspend or end access if you violate these rules.

Termination

We may end or limit your access at any time. You remain responsible for amounts due up to the date of termination. Sections that by nature survive will continue to apply.

Disclaimer of warranties

Except where we state otherwise, the services and all products are provided as is and as available. We do not promise that use will be uninterrupted or error free.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Another Kind and our team are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. This includes lost profits, lost data, replacement costs and similar losses related to your use of the services or products.

Indemnification

You agree to defend and hold Another Kind and our partners harmless from claims that arise from your breach of these Terms or your unlawful use of the services.

Severability

If any part of these Terms is unlawful or unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.

Waiver and entire agreement

If we do not enforce a right, it is not a waiver. These Terms together with linked policies are the full agreement between you and us about the services.

Assignment

You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations without notice.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by Danish law. Courts in Denmark will handle disputes that we cannot solve together.

You can review the current version of the Terms on this page. We may update these Terms by posting changes here. If changes are material, we will give notice as required by law. Your continued use after changes means you accept them.
